Member of Green Network since 2000. The Green Network association works determinedly with environment, working environment, social responsibility, and health promotion. Alfix conforms to Green Network standards in terms of environmental achievements.
Member of Green Building Council Denmark, a non-profit organization working with promotion of sustainable development in the building trade.
Alfix has EMICODE certification that applies for low-emission and solvent-free products. Alfix is member of EMICODE and relevant products are subject to ongoing monitoring.
Purchase of biomethane is part of the company’s sustainable strategy. Biomethane is a climate friendly energy source produced from organic waste, such as organic fertilizer and house hold rubbish.
Our purchase consists of 100% renewable and CO2-neutral energy. The energy is produced by Danish wind power – 100% wind power.
Alfix was nominated for the Danish Building Industry Environment award for our sustainable tile adhesive Alfix QuickFix premium and in 2020 due to our acoustic underlay Alfix Acoustic PS3 – Recycled.
Alfix has received a green smiley from the Danish Working Environment Authority.

Alfix has signed up for a CO2 Neutral Website. Our membership entails that we compensate the total CO2 emission from the operation of our website through measurable CO2 reductions.
In connection with the leading Danish construction trade fair, Byggeri 2012, Alfix won the Danish Building Industry’s Environment Award on behalf of its Environmental and working environmental strategy.
For many years Alfix has used eco-friendly materials for our packaging. All Alfix bags and sacks are made from high-quality eco-friendly paper and most plastic buckets are made from recycled waste plastic. Currently, we work on a full transition to recycled plastic which also includes our bottle supplied products.
