On Monday 29 October, Alfix won a theme prize at the Owner Leader of the Year 2018 awards ceremony in southern Jutland.
The awards ceremony, which is sponsored by PwC, the Danish Chamber of Commerce and Nykredit, took place at PwC’s offices in Vejle. Here, the choice of winner fell on Alfix A/S, a family-owned company that has been developing, manufacturing and marketing products for the Nordic building industry since 1963.
“We’re obviously proud and delighted with this prestigious award as a regional winner of the ‘Confidence’ theme award, and we’re very grateful that the nomination committee chose us,” say both Torben Carstensen Toft and Anders Bertelsen Toft – owner leaders at Alfix.
The fact that their long-standing work with values such as trustworthiness (confidence) and responsibility has been noticed outside the company is particularly satisfying for the owners, as the values play a key role for the Kolding-based company’s business foundation.
“In our view, it’s all down to our experienced, competent and loyal employees that we in Kolding have been chosen for the award. Without their hard work, commitment and expertise, Alfix simply wouldn’t exist,” add Torben and Anders.
According to the Alfix owners, warm thanks are also due to the professional business partners such as their suppliers, customers, end-users and others who have kept Alfix going for more than 55 years. Long-term relationships based on trust throughout the value chain are vital for the sustainability of the company.
The award comes with a place in the national finals which will be held on 8 November 2018 in Copenhagen. Here, Alfix is up against an exciting field of theme award-winners from all seven regions in Denmark.
